Life is Good in Arizona!

Awww doesn't this look like a perfect place to take a swim, lounge around and just enjoy the beauty of the surroundings?  And it totally is that and all more!  It's one of my favorite spots up in Sedona, just a quick 1 1/2 hour drive north from Phoenix. Enchantment is the name of the resort just in case you're coming to AZ this winter and you need a nice place to hang out! This is just one of the reasons I am thankful to live in Phoenix. There are so many things to do and see - all within a short drive or flight.

We like to hike and there is a really good hike at Enchantment up to one of the many vortexes found in Sedona.  Fall is my favorite time to hike this trail as it's nice and cool and the colors are so pretty.  I think a hike is in the works either this weekend or next. After hiking we'll stop for lunch and beverages and hang out at the pool.   Want to join us?

We would love to.  Alas, we are working this weekend on a project with a deadline.  We also have to be ready for another two events next week  We are very fond of the word enchantment.  Enjoy, A

Hi Anna.. I know Arizona well enough to know life is good there... but with family on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, it's hard for me to convince myself that when I travel overseas that I want to cross the USA before crossing the ocean.

Those red rock spires would vie with the pool if I were visiting Sedona -- and I think they would win! Beautiful.

I would love to join you.  I have such fond memories of a  3-day meditation retreat I attended in Sedona many years ago.  I got to meet Dr. David Hawkins!

I need to get one of his books out and read it again.

WOW - How I wish I could transport myself to that scene right now.  Glorious red rocks, and that pool has my name on it!

As I sit tending my woodstove, this is where I could plant myself to get some "outside" heat! And Vitamin D!!! Gosh, how really pretty.

Hi Anna

I had to stop in to see what you had to say about the good life in Arizona! I love visiting Sedona and Enchantment would be a pretty special place to visit...if I didn't have an aunt there to stay with!

Anna - looks like quite a place to enjoy.  I need to get back there. It has been several years since I was last in Arizona.
